- Develop and deliver high-quality training programs on OPNET and NET technical skills to employees and clients.
- Stay updated on the latest developments and advancements in the NET field to ensure training materials and techniques are relevant and effective.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create and update training materials, including presentations, manuals, and hands-on exercises.
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment for trainees, utilizing a variety of instructional methods to cater to different learning styles.
- Conduct assessments and provide feedback to trainees to track their progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Act as a mentor and coach to trainees, providing support and guidance as they develop their technical skills.
- Continuously evaluate and improve training programs based on feedback and industry best practices.
- Coordinate and schedule training sessions, ensuring all necessary resources and equipment are available.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to trainees during and after training sessions.
- Represent General Dynamics in a professional and knowledgeable manner at conferences, seminars, and other industry events.
- Collaborate with other members of the training team to identify and address any training gaps or needs within the organization.
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and trainee performance.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations, in all training activities.
- Continuously strive to enhance personal technical knowledge and expertise in the NET field.
- Demonstrate a commitment to promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the organization.
Extensive Experience With Opnet: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience Working With Opnet Software, Including Hands-On Experience In Designing, Implementing, And Troubleshooting Network Models.
Solid Understanding Of Networking Concepts: The Candidate Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Various Networking Concepts Such As Lan/Wan, Tcp/Ip, Routing Protocols, And Network Security.
Strong Communication Skills: As A Technical Instructor, The Candidate Must Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Convey Complex Technical Information To Students Of Varying Skill Levels.
Teaching Experience: Previous Experience In Teaching Or Training, Preferably In A Technical Setting, Is Highly Desired. The Candidate Should Have The Ability To Develop And Deliver Engaging Training Materials, As Well As Evaluate Student Progress And Provide Feedback.
Certifications: General Dynamics May Require The Candidate To Hold Relevant Certifications, Such As Opnet Certified Expert (Opnet-Cx), Cisco Certified Network Associate (Ccna), Or Certified Wireless Network Professional (Cwnp), To Demonstrate Proficiency In Network Technologies And Opnet Software.
