Job Description

At General Dynamics, we are looking for a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the research, design, development, and testing of mechanical and electromechanical components and systems, as well as the supervision of the production and installation of these components. We are looking for a detail-oriented, highly organized, and creative professional with excellent problem-solving capabilities.To be successful in this role, you should have a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with at least three years of experience in mechanical engineering. You should also have extensive knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes and processes. Additionally, you should be comfortable working with computer-aided design (CAD) software.We value a motivated team player who can think outside the box and bring fresh ideas to the table. Responsibilities: • Research, design, develop, and test mechanical and electromechanical components and systems. • Supervise the production and installation of these components. • Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software for mechanical design projects. • Develop innovative ideas to improve existing products and processes. • Ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors. • Monitor and evaluate the performance of mechanical components and systems. • Analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement. • Stay abreast of technological advancements in the field of mechanical engineering. • Maintain a high level of safety standards in the workplace.
