  1. Operate and maintain CNC machinery to produce high-quality products according to specifications.
  2. Conduct regular inspections and perform necessary maintenance to ensure machines are functioning properly.
  3. Troubleshoot any machine malfunctions and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
  4. Collaborate with engineers and production team to develop and implement new machining processes.
  5. Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to program machines.
  6. Monitor production process to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  7. Maintain inventory of necessary materials and tools for machining processes.
  8. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to optimize production efficiency.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions.
  11. Train and mentor new or less experienced CNC technicians.
  12. Communicate any production issues or concerns to management in a timely manner.
  13. Keep accurate records of production data and machine maintenance.
  14. Stay updated on industry advancements and new technologies in CNC machining.
  15. Collaborate with quality control team to ensure products meet company and client standards.

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge Of Cnc Programming And Operation: A Strong Understanding Of Computer Numerical Control (Cnc) Systems, Including Programming, Setup, And Operation Is Essential For This Role. This Includes The Ability To Read And Interpret Blueprints And Use Cad/Cam Software.

  • Experience With Precision Machining: Candidates Should Have Experience Working With Various Materials, Such As Metals And Plastics, And Be Skilled In Using Precision Measuring Tools To Ensure Accuracy And Quality Of Finished Products.

  • Familiarity With Cnc Machinery And Equipment: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Cnc Machinery And Equipment, Including Lathes, Mills, And Routers. This Includes The Ability To Troubleshoot And Perform Routine Maintenance On These Machines.

  • Attention To Detail And Quality Control: As A Cnc Technician, It Is Crucial To Have A Keen Eye For Detail And A Strong Focus On Quality Control. This Includes The Ability To Identify And Correct Any Issues That May Affect The Accuracy Or Functionality Of The Finished Product.

  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Cnc Technicians Must Be Able To Think Critically And Solve Problems Quickly And Efficiently. This Includes The Ability To Analyze Complex Technical Issues And Develop Effective Solutions To Keep Production Running Smoothly.
