- Conduct thorough and detailed inspections of aircraft to ensure compliance with all airworthiness standards and regulations.
- Lead and oversee a team of A&P mechanics in performing maintenance and repairs on various aircraft models.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inspections, maintenance, and repairs performed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and superiors to report any issues, concerns, or updates related to aircraft airworthiness.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all safety procedures and protocols during aircraft maintenance and inspections.
- Stay current on all FAA regulations, standards, and guidelines related to aircraft airworthiness.
- Conduct regular training and development sessions for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with other departments and personnel to ensure timely and efficient completion of maintenance and repairs.
- Identify potential safety hazards and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks.
- Participate in audits and inspections to ensure adherence to all airworthiness standards and regulations.
- Conduct investigations and root cause analyses for any aircraft incidents or failures.
- Communicate with external parties, such as FAA inspectors and aircraft manufacturers, as needed.
- Represent the company in a professional manner when interacting with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure all equipment and tools are properly maintained and calibrated.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and ethical standards.
Hold An Airframe And Powerplant (A&P) Certification Issued By The Federal Aviation Administration (Faa).
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience As An Airworthiness Inspector, With At Least 2 Years In A Supervisory Or Lead Role.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Faa Regulations, Standards, And Procedures Related To Aviation Maintenance And Airworthiness.
Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Conduct Thorough Inspections Of Aircraft, Components, And Systems.
Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, To Effectively Communicate Findings And Recommendations To Management And Other Team Members.
