- Utilize various tools and equipment such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to perform repairs and modifications.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with aircraft components, and develop solutions to ensure optimal performance.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams to accurately complete repairs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and modifications, including documentation of any deviations from standard procedures.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and implement process improvements in the repair and overhaul division.
- Stay current with industry developments and advancements in machining techniques and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and safety.
- Attend training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Machining Techniques And Equipment, Including Lathes, Mills, And Grinders.
Proficiency In Reading And Interpreting Technical Drawings And Specifications.
Familiarity With Aircraft Components And Their Repair Processes, Including Welding, Brazing, And Heat Treatment.
Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Work With Precision In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Prior Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In The Aerospace Industry, And A Strong Understanding Of Quality Control And Safety Protocols.
