
Aerospace Engineer
We at General Dynamics are looking for an Aerospace Engineer to join our team of engineers and help us continue to be a leader in aerospace innovation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for engineering and a strong understanding of the aerospace industry.The Aerospace Engineer will be part of a team responsible for developing and designing aerospace systems and components. This includes designing and testing components in order to ensure they meet safety and performance requirements. We are looking for someone with the qualifications and experience to excel in this role.To be successful in this role, you must possess a degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field, and have at least five years of professional experience working in the aerospace industry. You should have a strong understanding of aerodynamics, fluid dynamics, and aeronautical structures. Responsibilities:
- Design and develop aerospace systems and components to meet safety and performance requirements.
- Analyze aerodynamic, fluid dynamic, and aeronautical structures.
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create models and drawings.
- Evaluate and test components and systems to ensure they meet required specs.
- Research and evaluate relevant industry advancements and trends.
- Collaborate with other engineers and team members to ensure successful completion of projects.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations on project progress.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during development or testing.
- Maintain awareness of industry developments and changes in regulation.
- Assist in the training and development of junior engineers.
