  1. Conduct research and analysis to identify and evaluate new materials and processes for use in aerospace and defense projects.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement material and process solutions that meet project requirements and specifications.
  3. Design, plan, and conduct experiments to test and validate new materials and processes.
  4. Analyze data and results to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
  5. Develop and maintain detailed documentation and reports to track progress and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
  6. Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in material and process engineering to inform project decisions.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve material and process-related issues that arise during project development.
  8. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols.
  9. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and team members.
  10. Continuously identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness in material and process engineering.
  11. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to evaluate and select the best materials and processes for project needs.
  12. Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
  13. Proactively communicate updates, challenges, and successes to project managers and other stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Material And Process Engineering

  • Knowledge Of Industry Standards, Regulations, And Best Practices For Material Selection, Processing, And Testing
