Job Description

General Atomics is looking for an experienced, safety-minded Space System Safety Engineer to join our team and help us ensure the safety of our space systems. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about space engineering and safety, and who is knowledgeable and experienced in system safety engineering and concepts.The successful candidate should have a solid understanding of system safety engineering principles, standards, and guidelines and the ability to apply them in a space environment. They should also have experience performing safety analyses and system safety assessments, and be able to provide technical input and guidance to the project teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and collaboratively, and be organized and detail-oriented.If you have a passion for space engineering and safety, and have the necessary skills and experience, we invite you to apply and join us as our Space System Safety Engineer!
