Job Description

At General Atomics, we are looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) team. The ideal candidate will have the technical expertise and experience to lead engineering projects from concept to completion. They will have a results-oriented approach and be able to manage multiple projects and be an effective communicator.The successful candidate will have a degree in engineering (preferably in aerospace engineering) and at least 8 years' experience in a project engineering role. In addition, they will have extensive experience in UAS project design, development and engineering. The Senior Project Engineer must have experience with precision instrumentation and control system design, electrical and mechanical systems, and software design. They must also be familiar with the FAA regulations for unmanned systems. Lastly, they must be a self-starter with a proactive attitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to excellence.
