In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely revenue recognition and billing for our complex and high-profile projects.   1. Manage and maintain accurate project accounting records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  2. Ensure timely and accurate revenue recognition for all projects, adhering to GAAP and company guidelines.
  3. Prepare and review project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports to ensure financial targets are met.
  4. Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate and timely project billing, including monitoring and resolving billing discrepancies.
  5. Conduct regular project financial reviews and analysis to identify potential risks and make recommendations for improvement.
  6. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  7. Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of project accounting procedures.
  8. Conduct regular audits of project financials to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  9. Participate in the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries and reconciliations related to project accounting.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry and regulatory changes related to project accounting and incorporate them into company processes as needed.
  11. Train and mentor junior project accountants to ensure a high level of accuracy and proficiency in project accounting.
  12. Handle ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests from management as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Project Accounting, Particularly In Revenue And Billing.

  • Strong Understanding Of Gaap And Project Accounting Principles.

  • Proficiency In Accounting And Billing Software, Such As Sap Or Oracle.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Resolve Issues In A Timely Manner.
