- Utilize expertise in Optics/Photonics to design and optimize FPGA-based control systems.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers to successfully deliver complex projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure effective integration of control systems.
- Conduct research and stay updated on industry advancements in FPGA design and implementation.
- Test and verify control systems to ensure functionality and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with control systems.
- Create and maintain documentation for control system designs and processes.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
- Continuously improve and optimize control system designs for enhanced performance and efficiency.
- Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality results within designated deadlines.
- Communicate project updates and progress to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers as needed.
- Participate in design reviews and provide recommendations for improvements.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Or A Related Field With A Focus On Fpga Design And Control Systems.
Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Fpga Development, Implementation, And Testing In The Optics/Photonics Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Control Systems Theory And Experience With Designing And Implementing Control Algorithms For Optical Systems.
Experience With Xilinx And/Or Altera Fpga Development Tools And Hdl Languages (Verilog, Vhdl).
Familiarity With Optical Communication Protocols Such As Ethernet, Tcp/Ip, And Udp, As Well As Experience With High-Speed Data Acquisition And Processing.
