- Develop and implement procurement strategies to support the company's goals and objectives.
- Source and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing terms to ensure the best value for the company.
- Manage vendor relationships, including conducting regular performance reviews and resolving any issues or disputes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and pricing agreements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their purchasing needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-saving measures to improve the company's bottom line.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market conditions to inform purchasing decisions.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards in procurement activities.
- Lead and mentor junior buyers, providing guidance and support to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Procurement And Supply Chain Management, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Defense Industry Setting.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field. Master's Degree Preferred.
Strong Negotiation Skills And The Ability To Develop And Maintain Relationships With Suppliers.
Experience In Strategic Sourcing And Cost Analysis, With A Proven Track Record Of Achieving Cost Savings And Process Improvements.
Knowledge Of Federal Procurement Regulations And Compliance Requirements, Including Far And Dfars.
