- Perform routine and complex avionics maintenance and troubleshooting tasks on various aircraft models.
- Conduct pre-flight and post-flight avionics checks to ensure proper functionality and safety.
- Develop and implement avionics repair and maintenance procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure proper integration and installation of avionics systems.
- Train and mentor junior technicians in avionics maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance, repairs, and upgrades performed on avionics systems.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in avionics technology and recommend upgrades or modifications as needed.
- Communicate effectively with other departments and team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure efficient operations.
- Comply with all safety regulations and protocols while performing avionics maintenance and repairs.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Participate in regular performance reviews and provide feedback on departmental processes and procedures.
- Represent the company in a professional manner and maintain a positive working relationship with clients and vendors.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to confidentiality and security.
- Attend training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in avionics maintenance and technology.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure the safety and security of equipment and materials.
Minimum Of 10 Years Experience Working In Avionics Maintenance And Repair, Preferably In A Military Or Aerospace Setting.
Extensive Knowledge And Understanding Of Avionics Systems, Including Navigation, Communication, And Flight Control Systems.
Ability To Read And Interpret Technical Manuals, Schematics, And Blueprints.
Strong Troubleshooting Skills And Experience With Diagnostic Equipment.
Experience Managing A Team Of Technicians And Overseeing Complex Avionics Projects.
