- Conduct materials testing and analysis in accordance with company and industry standards.
- Perform sample preparation, testing, and data analysis using various techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all testing procedures and results.
- Collaborate with engineers and scientists to develop and implement new testing methods and procedures.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of materials testing equipment and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures during all testing and analysis activities.
- Communicate test results and findings to project teams and stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to materials testing.
- Continuously seek out and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in materials science and engineering.
- Mentor and train junior materials technicians as needed.
- Adhere to project timelines and deadlines to meet production and development goals.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of materials properties and their impact on product performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and improve materials selection and usage processes.
- Maintain a high level of quality control and ensure adherence to all relevant industry standards and regulations.
Bachelor's Degree In Materials Science, Engineering, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Materials Testing, Analysis, And Characterization
Working Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Testing Methods For Various Materials
Familiarity With Laboratory Equipment And Instrumentation For Materials Testing And Analysis
Strong Analytical Skills And Attention To Detail, With The Ability To Troubleshoot And Solve Problems Effectively.
