- Provide administrative support to the legal team by managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and organizing documents and files.
- Conduct legal research and prepare reports, summaries, and presentations.
- Assist with the preparation and filing of legal documents, including court filings, contracts, and corporate documents.
- Communicate with internal and external parties, including attorneys, clients, and vendors, in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain and update legal databases and systems.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
- Monitor and track legal deadlines and assist with managing legal projects.
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and other legal documents.
- Assist with reviewing and proofreading legal documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure legal compliance and ethical standards are met.
- Participate in meetings and take accurate minutes.
- Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards that may affect the company.
- Support the legal team in special projects and initiatives as needed.
- Contribute to the overall success of the legal department by providing high-quality work and maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
Bachelor's Degree In Paralegal Studies Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working As A Legal Assistant In A Law Firm Or Corporate Legal Department
Strong Knowledge Of Legal Terminology, Procedures, And Documentation
Proficient In Using Legal Software And Databases, Such As Lexisnexis Or Westlaw
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Multitask And Prioritize Tasks Effectively.
