- Develop and implement information security policies, procedures, and guidelines to protect company data and systems.
- Monitor and assess potential risks and vulnerabilities to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company information.
- Maintain and update security controls and technologies to meet industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in information security to proactively identify potential risks and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of the organization.
- Conduct training sessions and provide guidance to employees on security best practices and policies.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches, providing timely and accurate reporting to management.
- Manage and maintain security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus software.
- Provide guidance and support for secure remote access and mobile device management.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all security-related inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain documentation of security procedures, incidents, and risk assessments.
- Continuously evaluate and improve security processes and procedures to enhance the overall security posture of the organization.
- Communicate potential security risks and vulnerabilities to management and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through ongoing training and participation in industry conferences and events.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Information Security, With A Focus On Risk Assessment And Compliance.
Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations Such As Nist, Fisma, And Hipaa.
Experience With Implementing And Maintaining Security Controls And Protocols For Network, Systems, And Applications.
Professional Certifications Such As Cissp, Cism, Or Giac Are Preferred.
