  1. Manage and maintain General Atomics' hybrid cloud infrastructure, ensuring its stability, security, and performance.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize hybrid cloud solutions to meet business needs.
  3. Monitor and troubleshoot system issues, proactively identifying and addressing potential problems.
  4. Develop and maintain system documentation, including configurations, processes, and procedures.
  5. Ensure compliance with security protocols and industry best practices for hybrid cloud environments.
  6. Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to the hybrid cloud infrastructure, including cost optimization and resource utilization.
  7. Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery strategies for the hybrid cloud environment.
  8. Provide technical support and guidance to other IT teams and end-users.
  9. Keep up-to-date with emerging hybrid cloud technologies and trends, and make recommendations for their implementation.
  10. Contribute to the development and maintenance of company-wide IT policies and procedures related to hybrid cloud systems.
  11. Participate in on-call rotations and off-hours maintenance activities as needed.
  12. Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure the smooth operation of hybrid cloud systems and resolve any issues that may arise.
  13. Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline and improve system management processes.
  14. Participate in project planning, execution, and coordination for hybrid cloud-related initiatives.
  15. Maintain a thorough understanding of General Atomics' business needs and make recommendations for hybrid cloud solutions that align with those needs.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience With Hybrid Cloud Environments: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Both Private And Public Cloud Environments, As Well As Experience In Managing The Integration And Communication Between The Two.

  • Proficiency In Cloud Technologies: The Candidate Should Be Well-Versed In Various Cloud Technologies, Such As Aws, Azure, And Google Cloud Platform. They Should Also Have Experience With Containerization And Virtualization Technologies, Such As Docker And Vmware.

  • System Administration Skills: A Hybrid Cloud Systems Administrator Should Have A Solid Foundation In System Administration, Including Experience With Operating Systems, Networking, Security, And Scripting.

  • Strong Troubleshooting Skills: The Candidate Should Have The Ability To Quickly Identify And Resolve Issues Within A Hybrid Cloud Environment, As Well As The Skills To Troubleshoot Complex Problems That May Arise.

  • Communication And Collaboration Abilities: As The Role Involves Working With Various Teams, The Candidate Should Possess Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills. They Should Also Be Able To Work Efficiently Within A Team And Independently When Needed.
