Global Shipping Supervisor
Supervises a large team of domestic/international shipping professionals. Manages our global project logistics teams and functions. Manages our domestic and global 3rd Party Network of shipping and transportation providers. Ensures team objectives are achieved within existing financial, operational and logistics constraints and government regulations. Coordinates and schedules the required logistics and daily deliveries to our engineering, manufacturing, customers, and other key functional teams including trade compliance and the Program Office. Works cross functionally across all key groups and organizations within the company. Oversees and actively assists in assigning daily work assignments specific to our shipping network and/or receiving functions. Develops, maintains and communicates a workload plan and forecast.
Ability to work independently and lead in a team environment is essential
11+ years progressively complex experience in Production Control
5+ years supervisor experience.
