- Perform routine maintenance and repair on advanced aircraft systems, including avionics and electronic components.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with avionics systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Conduct thorough inspections and testing of avionics equipment to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Keep detailed records and documentation of all maintenance and repairs performed.

Extensive Knowledge Of Avionics Systems: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Various Avionics Systems, Including Communication, Navigation, And Surveillance Systems.
Experience With Military Aircraft: This Position Requires Experience Working With Military Aircraft, Particularly Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (Uavs). Candidates Should Be Familiar With The Specific Avionics Systems Used In These Aircraft.
Ability To Troubleshoot And Repair Avionics Issues: The Field Avionics Technician Will Be Responsible For Diagnosing And Solving Complex Avionics Problems In A Timely Manner. The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Troubleshooting And Repairing Avionics Issues.
Faa Certification: A Valid Faa Airframe And Powerplant (A&P) Certification Is Highly Desirable For This Role. This Certification Demonstrates The Candidate's Competency In Maintaining And Repairing Aircraft, Including Avionics Systems.
Security Clearance: Due To The Sensitive Nature Of The Work At Creech Afb, Candidates Must Possess Or Be Able To Obtain A Security Clearance From The Department Of Defense. This May Include A Background Check, Drug Test, And Other Security Measures.
