
Electrical Flight Test Engineer
Design and/or specification of flight test systems, cables, equipment, and software to facilitate testing of unmanned air vehicles. Support the installation, test, and sustainment of flight test hardware and software at multiple locations and facilities. Responsible for system level troubleshooting guides and fault isolation diagrams for AV and ground support systems. Work with subject matter experts on the proper selection and location of flight test instrumentation with extensive work on the integration of flight test hardware into unmanned air vehicles. Obtain, analyze, and build displays for flight test data. Extract and upload data to secure network locations. May be required to make brief technical presentations. May provide direction to design and/or technical staff. Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
Two or more years of engineering experience
Working experience with bus communication protocols and standards
Experience with data acquisition software such as TTC Ware, IADS, DAS Studio, or KSM
Experience with Real Time Operating Systems
Understanding of basic RF theory is a plus
