Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering Or A Related Field: A Strong Foundation In Electrical Engineering Principles Is Essential For This Role, As It Will Involve Designing, Developing, And Testing Embedded Systems And Control Algorithms.
Experience With Embedded Systems And Controls: Candidates Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience Working With Embedded Systems And Control Systems, Preferably In The Aerospace Or Defense Industry.
Proficiency In Programming Languages: Strong Programming Skills In Languages Such As C, C++, And Assembly Are Necessary For Developing And Troubleshooting Embedded Systems And Control Algorithms.
Knowledge Of Hardware Design And Development: This Position Will Involve Working With Hardware Components Such As Microcontrollers, Sensors, And Actuators, So A Solid Understanding Of Hardware Design And Development Is Required.
Familiarity With Industry Standards And Regulations: General Atomics Works On Projects For Government Agencies And The Military, So Candidates Should Have Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As Do-178C And Mil-Std-1553, To Ensure Compliance In Their Designs.
