  1. Operate Deployable UAVs in various locations around the globe, adhering to company and industry regulations and safety protocols.
  2. Maintain a high level of proficiency in operating UAVs through regular training and practice.
  3. Conduct pre-flight checks and inspections to ensure the safe and efficient operation of UAVs.
  4. Monitor and analyze flight data to identify and troubleshoot any technical issues.
  5. Collaborate with team members to plan and execute UAV missions.
  6. Communicate with ground control stations to relay important information and follow instructions.
  7. Continuously assess and adjust flight plans based on changing weather conditions and other factors.
  8. Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of UAVs, including cleaning, repairs, and replacement of parts.
  9. Adhere to all security protocols and procedures when handling sensitive information and equipment.
  10. Demonstrate strong leadership skills when coordinating with other UAV pilots and team members.
  11. Maintain accurate and detailed records of flight activities and any incidents.
  12. Represent General Atomics in a professional manner and promote a positive image of the company.
  13. Stay up-to-date on industry advancements and regulations related to UAV operations.
  14. Remain flexible and adaptable in order to quickly respond to changing project needs and priorities.
  15. Participate in training and development opportunities to improve skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field, Such As Aerospace Engineering Or Aviation Technology.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience As A Uav Pilot, Preferably With Experience In Military Or Government Contracts.

  • Hold A Current Faa Commercial Pilot's License With A Uav Rating.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Uav Operations And Flight Regulations.

  • Ability To Obtain And Maintain A Security Clearance And Pass A Background Check.
