  1. Conduct research and development of advanced composite materials for aerospace and defense applications.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop composite structures.
  3. Create and execute testing plans and analyze data to ensure the quality and reliability of composite materials.
  4. Utilize technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to composite materials.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in composite engineering to continuously improve processes and products.
  6. Develop and maintain detailed design documentation and reports.
  7. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source and procure necessary materials.

  9. Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians.

  11. Identify and implement cost-saving measures in the production and use of composite materials.
  12. Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide technical support and solutions.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Aerospace, Mechanical, Or Materials Engineering

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Composite Materials Design, Development, And Manufacturing

  • Proficiency In Cad Software And Composite Design Software Such As Catia Or Ansys

  • Strong Knowledge Of Composite Material Properties And Manufacturing Processes (E.g. Layup, Curing, Etc.)

  • Experience With Project Management, Including Budgeting, Scheduling, And Team Leadership.
