  1. Develop and implement computer vision algorithms for cutting-edge projects in collaboration with the Federal team.
  2. Conduct research and stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in computer vision technology to ensure General Atomics remains at the forefront of innovation.
  3. Utilize a strong background in software engineering to design, code, and test software solutions to meet client needs.
  4. Collaborate with team members and clients to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and provide project updates.
  5. Maintain a current security clearance and adhere to all government regulations and protocols.
  6. Troubleshoot and debug software issues as needed.
  7. Document software processes and procedures for future reference.
  8. Continuously strive to improve and optimize software performance.
  9. Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project timelines and goals are met.
  11. Adhere to company standards and procedures for software development and testing.
  12. Attend team meetings and contribute ideas and suggestions for process improvement and project success.
  13. Stay organized and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  14. Proactively identify risks and propose solutions to mitigate them.
  15. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing General Atomics to clients and stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Active Security Clearance: The First And Most Important Qualification For A Cleared Software Engineer, Computer Vision, Federal Job At General Atomics Is An Active Security Clearance. This Ensures That The Candidate Is Eligible To Work On Sensitive Projects For The Federal Government.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science Or Related Field: A Strong Educational Background In Computer Science Or A Related Field Is Essential For This Position. This Will Provide The Necessary Foundation For Understanding And Developing Computer Vision Software.

  • Experience With Government Contracts And Compliance: General Atomics Primarily Works On Government Contracts, So Experience With Government Procedures, Regulations, And Compliance Is Crucial For A Cleared Software Engineer. This Includes Familiarity With Security Protocols And Documentation.
