
Antenna Test Engineer
Conducts antenna system inspection, testing, verification, and validation. Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into antenna system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Reviews antenna systems design and change specifications to ensure testing measures meet acceptable reliability standards and program objectives. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in modifying antenna systems. Responsible for most of the antenna testing and documentation carried out by the group. Responsible for operating, calibrating, and maintaining our indoor anechoic chamber. Responsible for writing test plans and test procedures with support from antenna design engineers and/or systems engineers. Responsible for making sure any required test fixtures are available for testing.
0-2 years of relevant experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance is required
Extensive experience making antenna measurements, including anechoic chamber calibrations.
Experienced making measurements of return loss, insertion loss and insertion phase delay.
