  1. Perform maintenance and repairs on company aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies.
  2. Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose aircraft for any potential issues or malfunctions.
  3. Complete necessary documentation and record keeping for all maintenance and repairs performed.
  4. Maintain and update knowledge of current aircraft models, parts, and procedures.
  5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
  6. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  7. Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members regarding aircraft status and any potential issues.
  8. Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure aircraft are in proper working condition.
  9. Order and maintain inventory of necessary parts and materials.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
  11. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  12. Attend training and education programs to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  14. Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Job Qualifications
  • Faa Certification: A Qualified Candidate For An Airframe And Powerplant Mechanic Job At General Atomics Should Hold A Valid Airframe And Powerplant (A&P) License Issued By The Federal Aviation Administration (Faa).

  • Experience With General Atomics Aircraft: General Atomics Specializes In The Design And Manufacture Of Advanced Unmanned Aircraft Systems (Uas). Therefore, Candidates Should Have Experience Working With General Atomics Aircraft, Such As The Mq-9 Reaper Or The Mq-1 Predator.

  • Knowledge Of Avionics Systems: Since General Atomics Aircraft Are Equipped With Advanced Avionics Systems, Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Avionics Technology And Be Able To Troubleshoot And Maintain These Systems.

  • Attention To Detail: Airframe And Powerplant Mechanics Are Responsible For Inspecting And Maintaining Aircraft To Ensure They Are Safe And In Compliance With Faa Regulations. A Qualified Candidate Should Have Excellent Attention To Detail To Catch Any Potential Issues And Ensure The Aircraft Is In Top Working Condition.
