- Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose aircraft for any potential issues or malfunctions.
- Complete necessary documentation and record keeping for all maintenance and repairs performed.
- Maintain and update knowledge of current aircraft models, parts, and procedures.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.

- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members regarding aircraft status and any potential issues.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure aircraft are in proper working condition.

Faa Certification: A Qualified Candidate For An Airframe And Powerplant Mechanic Job At General Atomics Should Hold A Valid Airframe And Powerplant (A&P) License Issued By The Federal Aviation Administration (Faa).
Experience With General Atomics Aircraft: General Atomics Specializes In The Design And Manufacture Of Advanced Unmanned Aircraft Systems (Uas). Therefore, Candidates Should Have Experience Working With General Atomics Aircraft, Such As The Mq-9 Reaper Or The Mq-1 Predator.
Knowledge Of Avionics Systems: Since General Atomics Aircraft Are Equipped With Advanced Avionics Systems, Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Avionics Technology And Be Able To Troubleshoot And Maintain These Systems.
