- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential vulnerabilities within the organization's systems, networks, and applications.
- Develop and maintain vulnerability management processes and procedures to ensure timely and effective remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and operations, to prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities based on potential impact and risk.
- Monitor and track vulnerabilities, ensuring that they are resolved within the agreed upon timelines.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in vulnerability management and proactively recommend improvements to existing processes and procedures.
- Conduct research and analysis of emerging threats and vulnerabilities to proactively identify potential risks to the organization.
- Communicate technical information and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders, including senior management, in a clear and concise manner.
- Work with external auditors and regulators to provide evidence of compliance with vulnerability management requirements.
- Participate in incident response and assist with remediation efforts during security incidents or breaches related to vulnerabilities.
- Mentor and train junior team members on vulnerability management processes and best practices.
- Maintain documentation of vulnerability management activities, including reports, findings, and remediation plans.
- Collaborate with vendors and external partners as needed to address vulnerabilities in third-party systems and applications.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and security standards to ensure the protection of customer data and systems.
- Proactively identify and report any potential security risks or incidents to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the vulnerability management program to ensure it meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
At Least 3 Years Of Experience In Vulnerability Management, Security Operations, Or Related Field.
Strong Knowledge Of Vulnerability Assessment Tools And Techniques, Such As Qualys, Nessus, And Metasploit.
Familiarity With Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As Pci Dss, Hipaa, And Iso 27001.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
