  1. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments to identify potential risks and weaknesses in our systems and networks.
  2. Develop and implement effective remediation strategies to mitigate identified vulnerabilities.
  3. Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to detect and respond to potential cyber threats.
  4. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in vulnerability management and IT security.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
  6. Maintain and update vulnerability management tools and systems.
  7. Provide technical guidance and support to other members of the IT team.
  8. Conduct training and awareness sessions for employees on best practices for preventing and responding to cyber attacks.
  9. Participate in security incident response activities and provide recommendations for improvement.
  10. Regularly review and update vulnerability management policies and procedures.
  11. Communicate with external partners and vendors to ensure their systems and networks meet our security requirements.
  12. Proactively identify and recommend enhancements to existing security controls to strengthen our overall cybersecurity posture.
  13. Assist in the development and implementation of security awareness programs for employees.
  14. Stay informed about emerging threats and vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for proactive mitigation.
  15. Conduct research and analysis on new and emerging vulnerability management technologies and tools.
  16. Collaborate with other security teams to ensure a holistic approach to protecting critical information and assets.
  17. Participate in risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating identified risks.
  18. Prepare and present vulnerability management reports to senior management.
  19. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information and data.
  20. Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of vulnerability management and IT security.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Best Practices: A Vulnerability Management Engineer At Geico Auto Insurance Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Industry Standards And Best Practices Related To Vulnerability Management, Such As The Common Vulnerability Scoring System (Cvss) And The National Vulnerability Database (Nvd).
