Job Description

At Geico Auto Insurance, we are seeking a highly driven and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Technology Supplier Manager. As the Technology Supplier Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our technology partnerships and driving innovation within our organization. We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology, has excellent communication and negotiation skills, and has a strong understanding of vendor management.   1. Oversee and manage all technology supplier relationships, including contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
  2. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the technology landscape, including emerging trends and innovations, to identify potential supplier partnerships.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand technology needs and ensure that suppliers are meeting business requirements.
  4. Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular business reviews to identify areas for improvement and address any issues.
  5. Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, including pricing, service level agreements, and terms and conditions.
  6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key technology suppliers to foster collaboration and drive innovation.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and market trends related to technology supplier management.
  8. Monitor and manage supplier risk, including compliance with regulatory requirements and data security.
  9. Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure that technology procurement aligns with budgetary requirements.
  10. Track and report on supplier performance metrics to senior management.
  11. Continuously evaluate and improve the technology supplier management process to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  12. Communicate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure alignment and transparency in all supplier-related activities.
  13. Act as a key point of contact for all technology supplier-related communications and escalations.
  14. Provide guidance and support to other team members on vendor management best practices and processes.
  15. Represent the company in a professional manner and maintain positive relationships with all technology suppliers.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Technology Procurement Or Supplier Management.

  • Strong Understanding Of Technology Solutions And Services, Particularly In The Insurance Industry.

  • Excellent Negotiation And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Vendors.

  • Knowledge Of Contract Management And Experience In Managing Vendor Contracts And Performance.
