- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize performance and observability requirements for our systems.
- Design, develop and implement performance and observability solutions to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of our systems.
- Conduct regular performance and observability audits and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Develop and maintain performance monitoring tools and dashboards to track and report system performance metrics.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance and observability issues in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in performance and observability practices and technologies.
- Mentor and train junior engineers on performance and observability best practices.
- Collaborate with product and project managers to ensure performance and observability requirements are incorporated into project plans.
- Communicate performance and observability updates and recommendations to stakeholders and upper management.
- Conduct research and provide recommendations for new technologies and tools to enhance performance and observability capabilities.
- Write and maintain technical documentation for performance and observability processes and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to performance and observability.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and provide insights and suggestions for improving overall system performance and observability.
- Continuously analyze and optimize system architecture and design to improve performance and observability.
- Collaborate with external vendors and partners to implement new performance and observability solutions.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams And Communicate Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Software Engineering Or Related Field, With A Focus On Performance And Observability.
Extensive Knowledge Of Performance Tuning Techniques And Tools Such As Apm, Tracing, And Monitoring.
Strong Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As Java, C++, Or Python, As Well As Experience With Cloud Technologies.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Implementing Performance And Observability Initiatives Within A Large-Scale Organization.
