
Senior Manager, SOX/MAR Transformation

- Oversee and manage the SOX/MAR Transformation team, ensuring efficient and effective execution of compliance activities.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive compliance transformation and improve processes and controls.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in regulations and industry standards related to SOX and MAR, and ensure the company's compliance with these requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify compliance risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Lead the planning and execution of SOX and MAR audits, liaising with internal and external auditors.
- Conduct regular reviews of internal controls and processes to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Provide guidance and training to team members and other departments on compliance requirements and best practices.
- Prepare and present compliance reports and updates to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, such as regulators and auditors, to ensure smooth and timely completion of compliance activities.
- Foster a culture of compliance within the organization by promoting awareness and understanding of compliance requirements and their importance.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in compliance and bring innovative ideas to drive continuous improvement.
- Proactively identify and address potential compliance issues and escalate to senior management when necessary.
- Act as a subject matter expert on SOX and MAR compliance and provide guidance and support to the wider organization.
- Drive a high level of performance and accountability within the team to achieve compliance objectives.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Legal and Finance, to ensure alignment and consistency in compliance efforts.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field.
Cpa Or Other Relevant Professional Certification.
Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In Financial Reporting, Internal Controls, And Sox Compliance.
Strong Knowledge Of Sox And Mar Regulations And Their Application To Insurance Industry.
Prior Experience Leading And Managing Cross-Functional Teams And Driving Process Improvement Initiatives.
