Senior Machine Learning Scientist

We are looking for a highly-motivated and experienced Senior Machine Learning Scientist to join the Geico Auto Insurance team. The ideal candidate should possess an advanced understanding of machine learning principles and have a track record of applying machine learning techniques to solve real-world problems. This position requires a strong leader who can work collaboratively across the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging machine learning in our products.The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in machine learning, with a focus on deep learning and natural language processing. A PhD in computer science with a focus on machine learning is preferred, though a Master’s degree in computer science or related field combined with extensive experience in machine learning will also be considered. We are looking for a creative thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for learning new technologies. This person should have excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with a range of stakeholders from data scientists to product managers.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
2. Create and maintain datasets for model training and testing.
3. Research and evaluate new machine learning technologies and techniques.
4. Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and leverage machine learning opportunities.
5. Develop documentation and training materials to support the use of machine learning models.
6. Monitor and evaluate the performance and accuracy of deployed models.
7. Optimize models to improve accuracy and performance.
8. Present results and insights to stakeholders at all levels.
9. Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in machine learning and artificial intelligence.
