- Lead the development and implementation of Geico's Claims Communications Technology.
- Utilize cutting-edge technologies to enhance and improve customer-facing communication systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and functionalities.
- Mentor and guide junior developers to ensure high quality code and efficient development processes.
- Perform rigorous testing and debugging to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Continuously monitor and improve system performance and scalability.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Java programming to drive continuous improvement.
- Take ownership of projects and drive them to completion within given timelines.
- Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders and management.
- Collaborate with product owners to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure proper documentation of code, procedures, and processes.
- Adhere to security and data protection protocols.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement and team growth.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience As A Java Engineer, With A Focus On Developing And Maintaining Claims Communication Technology.
Strong Understanding Of Java Programming Language And Related Technologies, Including Spring, Hibernate, And Restful Apis.
Experience Working In An Agile Development Environment And Using Tools Such As Jira And Git.
Knowledge Of The Insurance Industry And Experience Working With Claims Processing Systems.
Strong Problem-Solving Skills And Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Complex Technical Issues Related To Claims Communication Technology.
