  1. Develop and lead a team of engineers responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Workday Financials system at GEICO Auto Insurance.
  2. Drive the success of the Workday Financials system by providing technical expertise and guidance to the team.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  4. Develop and implement best practices for software development, testing, and deployment to ensure the stability and scalability of the Workday Financials system.
  5. Act as a mentor and coach to team members, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
  6. Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying and addressing any issues or inefficiencies to ensure smooth operation of the Workday Financials system.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Workday Financials technology to continuously improve and optimize the system.
  8. Collaborate with other senior leaders to shape and execute the technology strategy for the organization.
  9. Act as a liaison between the engineering team and other departments, effectively communicating updates, challenges, and solutions.
  10. Lead and participate in project planning and execution, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of projects.
  11. Be a role model for the team, promoting a positive and collaborative work culture that fosters innovation and excellence.
  12. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness within the engineering team.
  13. Maintain a high level of accountability and drive for results, ensuring the team meets or exceeds project deadlines and goals.
  14. Serve as a subject matter expert and go-to resource for any Workday Financials related questions or issues.
