- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to the company on all employment-related matters.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in employment laws and regulations.
- Review and revise company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws.
- Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for employees and management on employment laws and regulations.
- Advise on and handle employment-related disputes and litigation.
- Collaborate with HR and management teams to proactively address potential employment law issues.
- Review and negotiate employment-related contracts and agreements.
- Manage relationships with outside legal counsel and other external partners.
- Communicate legal advice and recommendations clearly and effectively to all levels of the organization.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in employment law.
- Participate in company-wide initiatives and projects related to employment law.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for the company on employment law matters.
- Mentor and provide guidance to other members of the legal team.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings and negotiations related to employment law.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance the company's compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the legal team and across the organization.
Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From An Accredited Law School.
Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience Practicing Employment Law, Preferably In A Corporate Setting.
Admitted To Practice Law In At Least One State, With Preference For Admission In Multiple States.
Extensive Knowledge Of Federal And State Employment Laws, Including But Not Limited To Title Vii, Fmla, Ada, And Flsa.
Strong Analytical, Communication, And Negotiation Skills, With Proven Ability To Handle Complex Legal Matters And Provide Strategic Counsel To Senior Leadership.
