
Senior Benefits Analyst
We at Geico Auto Insurance are looking for a Senior Benefits Analyst to join our Benefits team. The ideal candidate is a highly organized individual who is able to manage multiple projects concurrently. They should be knowledgeable in benefit administration, have excellent communication skills, and an aptitude for problem-solving. The Senior Benefits Analyst will be responsible for providing expertise, support, and guidance in the administration of employee health and welfare plans.The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, as well as at least five years of experience in employee benefits, including experience with retirement plans. We are looking for a self-starter with a positive attitude and a passion for providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities of a Senior Benefits Analyst:
• Oversee and manage the day-to-day administration of employee health and welfare plans • Analyze employee benefits to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations • Develop and maintain company benefit policies and procedures • Monitor and update plan documents, summary plan descriptions, and employee notices • Track benefit invoices and coordinate annual open enrollment process • Provide guidance and support to employees on benefit plans and coverage • Manage employee life events, such as marriage, childbirth, and death • Maintain and report benefit metrics to senior leadership • Analyze benefit plan utilization and recommend changes as needed • Respond to employee inquiries and complaints regarding benefits • Collaborate with external vendors to ensure delivery of quality customer service • Stay up-to-date on latest industry trends and best practices • Participate in audits and assist with other related projects as needed
