
Security and Safety Systems Administrator
Geico Auto Insurance is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Security and Safety Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of the IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and safety of our network and systems. To be successful in this role, you must possess the technical knowledge and a customer-centric attitude. You must have a bachelor's degree in computer engineering or related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a network security or safety role. Experience with firewall systems, intrusion prevention systems, and identity and access management systems is essential. Additionally, you should have experience with scripting and automation tools to improve processes and procedures. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, the ability to work in a team environment, and strong organizational skills are also necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage security and safety systems for Geico Auto Insurance.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot firewall systems, intrusion prevention systems, and identity and access management systems.
- Create, implement, and maintain security policies and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve security and safety issues.
- Develop scripts and automation tools to improve processes and procedures.
- Provide technical support to staff for security and safety related issues.
- Monitor and analyze security and safety logs.
- Stay up to date with the latest security and safety technologies and best practices.
- Train and educate staff on security and safety topics.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the IT department.
