- Develop and implement procurement strategies for technology-related products and services in alignment with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts and pricing, and manage ongoing supplier relationships.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures and maintain accurate records of all procurement activities.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their technology needs and provide guidance on procurement best practices.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including conducting market research, issuing requests for proposals, evaluating bids, and making final purchase decisions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
- Work closely with the finance department to track and report on procurement spend and cost savings.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in technology to inform procurement decisions.
- Train and mentor junior procurement team members and provide support and guidance on complex procurement projects.
- Ensure timely delivery of products and services and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise with suppliers.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements to increase efficiency and streamline the procurement process.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and provide regular updates on procurement activities and cost-saving initiatives.
- Adhere to all legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
- Represent the company in a professional and positive manner when interacting with suppliers and other external parties.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Procurement And Category Management In The Technology Industry
Strong Understanding Of Procurement Processes And Best Practices, Including Strategic Sourcing, Contract Negotiation, And Supplier Management
Experience With Implementing And Managing Technology Contracts, Including Software Licenses, Hardware Purchases, And It Services
Excellent Communication And Relationship-Building Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Manage Vendor Relationships Effectively.
