As a Procurement, Tech Category Manager, you will be responsible for managing the procurement and contract negotiation processes for our technology category, ensuring that we secure the best products and services at the most competitive prices. To excel in this role, you must have a strong understanding of technology trends and the ability to cultivate strong relationships with vendors.   1. Develop and implement procurement strategies and processes for our technology category to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
  2. Identify and engage with potential vendors to source the best products and services for our company.
  3. Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure the best pricing and terms for our technology purchases.
  4. Monitor and track technology market trends and advancements to inform procurement decisions.
  5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their technology needs and requirements.
  6. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.
  7. Conduct vendor evaluations and performance reviews to ensure compliance with contract terms and service level agreements.
  8. Develop and maintain a database of technology vendors and their offerings.
  9. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations, in all procurement activities.
  10. Work closely with the finance team to manage budget and expenses related to technology procurement.
  11. Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to increase efficiency and cost savings.
  12. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and make recommendations for process improvements.
  13. Train and mentor junior procurement team members on technology category management.
  14. Represent the company at industry events and conferences to build relationships and stay informed on the latest technology trends and advancements.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Procurement And/Or Category Management, Preferably In The Technology Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Procurement Processes, Supplier Management, And Contract Negotiations.

  • Proficiency In Data Analysis And The Ability To Utilize Technology And Systems For Sourcing And Procurement Strategies.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Manage Vendor Relationships Effectively.
