Principal Software Engineer - People & Finance Tech
Are you an experienced Principal Software Engineer looking to join a leading technology team at Geico Auto Insurance? We’re looking for a skilled and innovative Engineer to join our People & Finance Tech team and take on a key role in developing and managing our software systems. This role requires a highly motivated and experienced individual with a deep understanding of software engineering principles and practices. You’ll work closely with a cross-functional team of software engineers, product owners, and designers to build and maintain Geico’s software solutions.We’re looking for someone with a passion for problem-solving and a commitment to excellence. To be successful, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, plus 5+ years of professional software engineering experience. You should also have experience with developing applications in multiple languages, developing software architectures, and developing software with cloud services. In addition, experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies is a must. Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage software systems for Geico Auto Insurance.
- Work with a cross-functional team of software engineers, product owners, and designers to build and maintain Geico’s software solutions.
