We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Operations Senior Staff Engineer to join our dynamic team at Geico Auto Insurance. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of our Workday and Finance technologies.   1. Develop and implement strategies for the effective use and maintenance of Workday and Finance technologies within the organization.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address any technical issues or improvements needed in the Workday and Finance systems.
  3. Lead the design, development, and testing of new features and enhancements to the Workday and Finance systems.
  4. Ensure the security, stability, and scalability of the Workday and Finance systems.
  5. Provide technical guidance and support to team members and other departments as needed.
  6. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in Workday and Finance technologies, and make recommendations for implementation.
  8. Develop and maintain documentation for the Workday and Finance systems, including user guides, processes, and procedures.
  9. Collaborate with vendors and external partners to ensure the smooth integration of new technologies.
  10. Mentor and train junior engineers on Workday and Finance technologies.
  11. Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes related to Workday and Finance systems.
  12. Collaborate with project managers and business analysts to understand and prioritize system requirements.
  13. Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the Workday and Finance systems.
  14. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
  15. Act as a subject matter expert for Workday and Finance technologies within the organization.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience With Workday And Finance Technologies: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding And Working Knowledge Of Workday And Finance Technologies, Including But Not Limited To Financial Management, Accounting, And Reporting.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Senior Staff Engineer, The Candidate Must Possess Exceptional Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage And Mentor Team Members, As Well As Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successful Implementations: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Track Record Of Successfully Implementing And Integrating Workday And Finance Technologies In Large Organizations.

  • In-Depth Understanding Of Insurance Industry: Knowledge And Experience In The Insurance Industry, Specifically In The Auto Insurance Sector, Is Highly Desirable For This Role.

  • Excellent Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills: The Candidate Must Possess Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills To Identify And Resolve Complex Issues Related To Workday And Finance Technologies, As Well As Provide Innovative Solutions To Enhance Processes And Systems.
