Geico Auto Insurance is seeking an experienced Insurance Regulatory Counsel to join our team and provide legal advice on a wide variety of matters related to insurance regulations. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of the insurance industry and the laws that govern it, and will be a well-organized, detail-oriented team player.This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join a leading national insurance company. The Insurance Regulatory Counsel will be responsible for researching and analyzing issues related to the insurance industry, providing legal advice on related matters, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws.The ideal candidate will possess a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school, have previous experience working in the insurance industry, and have excellent research, writing, and communication skills. A working knowledge of relevant state and federal laws is also required. Responsibilities:

  1. Research and analyze issues related to the insurance industry.
  2. Provide legal advice on related matters.
  3. Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal laws.
  4. Write legal opinions and reports.
  5. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Monitor changes in the insurance industry and provide updates to relevant personnel.
  7. Maintain knowledge of relevant legal developments.
  8. Participate in meetings and teleconferences related to insurance regulations.
  9. Assist in the development of policies and procedures related to insurance regulations.
  10. Support the development of new products and services.
