Job Description

Geico Auto Insurance is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Insurance Regulatory Counsel to join our Legal team. The ideal candidate will have a legal background in insurance regulations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. We are seeking a professional with the ability to provide legal advice and counsel on all relevant insurance regulatory matters.The successful candidate will be expected to have a thorough understanding of the legal principles and regulations that govern the insurance industry. Additionally, this individual should have a strong knowledge of the insurance industry, including the laws, regulations, and practices related to insurance products. The Insurance Regulatory Counsel will be responsible for providing legal advice on the implementation of new insurance regulations and monitoring changes to existing regulations. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and the ability to work effectively with various internal departments.Qualifications:• Juris Doctorate degree and license to practice law in the United States or a state• At least 5 years of experience working as a lawyer in the insurance industry• In-depth understanding of all applicable laws and regulations governing the insurance industry• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical advice• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Strong research and analytical skills• Highly organized and detail-orientedIf you have the necessary experience and qualifications, and if you are a motivated team player with a passion for the insurance industry, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity at Geico Auto Insurance.
