Government Relations Counsel

Geico Auto Insurance is seeking an experienced Government Relations Counsel to represent the interests of the company in state and federal government forums. The successful candidate will be an outstanding advocate with a passion for legislative and regulatory advocacy and a proven ability to build strong relationships with government officials.The ideal individual will have a comprehensive understanding of the legislative and regulatory processes in the states in which Geico operates, as well as a demonstrated commitment to public service. He or she must have excellent communication and writing skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders.Qualifications: • JD degree from an accredited law school • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a government relations or public policy role • A sound understanding of the legislative and regulatory processes in the states in which Geico operates• Proven ability to build relationships with government officials• Strong communication, writing, analytical, and problem-solving abilities • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders If this opportunity appeals to you and you meet the qualifications listed above, we want to hear from you!
