- Lead and manage a team of pricing analysts, providing guidance and direction to achieve team goals and objectives.
- Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior to inform pricing decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as underwriting, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and consistency in pricing strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of specialty insurance products, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes, adjusting pricing strategies as needed.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, such as brokers and reinsurers, to support pricing efforts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate pricing strategies and updates to senior management, providing detailed analysis and recommendations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the pricing team.
- Train and develop team members, promoting professional growth and development.
- Represent the company in industry events and conferences, showcasing our expertise in specialty insurance pricing.
Extensive Experience In Insurance Pricing: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In Insurance Pricing, With A Strong Focus On Specialty Lines Such As Commercial Auto, Motorcycle, And Recreational Vehicles. This Experience Should Include Developing Pricing Strategies, Conducting Rate Reviews, And Implementing Pricing Changes.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Specialty Lines Market: The Director Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Specialty Lines Market, Including Industry Trends, Competition, And Regulatory Environment. They Should Also Have Experience In Analyzing Market Data And Using It To Inform Pricing Decisions.
Strong Analytical And Technical Skills: The Role Requires A Candidate With Advanced Analytical And Technical Skills, Including Proficiency In Statistical Modeling, Data Analysis, And Pricing Tools.
