
Cybersecurity Education and Awareness Engineer
Geico Auto Insurance is looking for a motivated and innovative individual to join our team as a Cybersecurity Education and Awareness Engineer. This role is responsible for developing and delivering education and awareness initiatives designed to improve the security posture of the organization. The ideal candidate should have a passion for cybersecurity and the ability to build relationships across the organization.We are looking for someone who has a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Information Systems or Cybersecurity. In addition, a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred. The successful candidate should have an in-depth understanding of security principles and best practices, as well as the ability to create and deliver high-quality content. They must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver education and awareness initiatives designed to improve the security posture of the organization.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of security principles and best practices.
- Create and deliver high-quality content to educate customers and staff about cybersecurity best practices.
- Build relationships across the organization to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Monitor and respond to security threats and incidents.
- Lead training sessions and workshops related to cybersecurity topics.
- Analyze security data and develop reports to inform senior management of any risks or potential vulnerabilities.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations for implementation.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and recommend changes to ensure compliance with security standards.
