- Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity risk management programs to protect Geico's systems and applications from cyber threats.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop action plans to mitigate them.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and measures in new and existing applications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends and threats to proactively identify and address potential risks.
- Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals to maintain a strong security posture.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to cybersecurity risk management.
- Monitor and analyze security logs and reports to detect and respond to potential security incidents.
- Conduct regular training and awareness sessions for employees to promote a culture of security awareness.
- Work closely with external vendors and partners to ensure the security of all systems and applications.
- Communicate and report on cybersecurity risks and mitigation strategies to senior management.
- Continuously assess and enhance the effectiveness of the cybersecurity risk management program.
- Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the availability of critical systems and applications.
- Participate in incident response and investigation activities as needed.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on cybersecurity risk management and provide guidance and support to other teams within the organization.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all cybersecurity policies and procedures comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and tools to enhance the cybersecurity posture of the organization.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with established security policies and procedures.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the cybersecurity team.
- Act as a liaison between the cybersecurity team and other departments to promote a collaborative and proactive approach to cybersecurity risk management.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Cybersecurity Risk Management, Preferably In The Insurance Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Cybersecurity Frameworks And Regulations Such As Nist, Iso 27001, And Gdpr.
Experience In Conducting Risk Assessments And Developing Risk Management Strategies.
Professional Certifications Such As Certified Information Security Manager (Cism) Or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (Cissp) Are Preferred.
