- Oversee the daily operations of the Commercial Claims Unit, including managing a team of claims adjusters and support staff.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the claims handling process.
- Train and mentor claims staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality customer service.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement action plans.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Underwriting and Legal, to ensure timely and accurate claims resolution.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to promote professional development.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations related to commercial claims to ensure compliance.
- Act as a point of escalation for complex or high-value claims, providing guidance and support to resolve issues.
- Communicate with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders to address concerns and provide updates on claim status.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and business partners to promote customer retention and satisfaction.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new processes and procedures to enhance the claims handling process.
- Assist in budget planning and management for the Commercial Claims Unit.
- Stay informed of company goals and objectives and work towards achieving them through effective management of the claims unit.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the team.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures and ensure team members are also compliant.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Finance, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Commercial Claims Management, Preferably In The Insurance Industry.
Strong Leadership Skills With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Drive Results.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Commercial Insurance Policies, Regulations, And Best Practices In Claims Handling.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Various Stakeholders, Including Clients, Adjusters, And Legal Teams.
