Job Qualifications
  • Relevant Education Or Training: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required For This Position, With Preference Given To Candidates Who Have Completed Coursework Or Training In Automotive Technology, Collision Repair, Or Related Fields.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: As An Auto Damage Trainee, You Will Need To Be Able To Assess Vehicle Damage And Accurately Estimate Repair Costs. This Requires Strong Analytical Skills, Attention To Detail, And The Ability To Interpret Technical Diagrams And Repair Manuals.

  • Customer Service Experience: In This Role, You Will Be Interacting With Customers Who Have Been Involved In Car Accidents And May Be Upset Or Stressed. Previous Experience In A Customer Service Role, Such As In Retail Or Hospitality, Can Be Beneficial In Handling These Types Of Situations.

  • Physical Stamina And Ability: This Job Can Be Physically Demanding, As It Involves Inspecting And Assessing Damaged Vehicles, Sometimes In Challenging Weather Conditions. Candidates Should Be Able To Lift And Carry Up To 50 Pounds And Be Comfortable Working On Their Feet For Extended Periods Of Time.

  • Valid Driver's License And Clean Driving Record: A Valid Driver's License Is Required For This Position, As You Will Be Driving To Various Locations To Inspect Damaged Vehicles. A Clean Driving Record Is Also Important, As You May Be Required To Operate Company Vehicles And Insurance Records Will Be Reviewed During The Hiring Process.
