  1. Learn and apply industry knowledge: The Auto Damage Trainee will be responsible for learning and understanding the automotive industry, including various vehicle makes and models, repair processes, and insurance policies.
  2. Problem-solving: The Trainee will be expected to identify and resolve issues related to auto damage, such as determining the cause of damage and assessing the cost of repairs.
  3. Shadow and learn from experienced professionals: The Trainee will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced auto damage adjusters and learn from their expertise.
  4. Attend training and development programs: The Trainee will be responsible for participating in training and development programs to enhance their skills and knowledge in the field of auto damage adjusting.
  5. Develop communication skills: The Trainee will be expected to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and other professionals in a clear and professional manner.
  6. Attention to detail: The Trainee will be responsible for accurately documenting and recording information related to auto damage claims, including photos, repair estimates, and other relevant details.
  7. Follow company policies and procedures: The Trainee will adhere to company policies and procedures related to auto damage adjusting, including safety protocols and compliance with legal regulations.
  8. Collaborate with team members: The Trainee will work closely with other team members to gather information, share knowledge, and provide support in resolving complex auto damage claims.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Education Requirement For An Auto Damage Trainee Position At Geico Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent.

  • Valid Driver’s License: As An Auto Damage Trainee, You Will Be Required To Inspect And Assess Damage To Vehicles. Therefore, A Valid Driver’s License Is Necessary For This Role.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Essential For An Auto Damage Trainee. You Will Be Interacting With Customers, Colleagues, And Other Professionals On A Daily Basis.
